The Yoknapatawpha Arts Council was originally formed in 1975, and as is the case with most non-profit arts-related organizations, YAC has been through a constantly changing evolution of programming, style, staffing and services. Over the years; the arts council has been faithfully led and served by a loyal group of volunteers, directors and staff, all with the ultimate mission of supporting arts development and advocacy in Oxford and Lafayette County.
