The Powerhouse

Q - Where is the Powerhouse located?

A - The Powerhouse's physical address is 413 S. 14th Street. It's on the corner of S. 14th and University Ave. It's across the street from Ace Hardware and next door to Newk's. 

Q - What's your mailing address?

A - Our mailing address is PO Box 544, Oxford, MS 38655. We cannot receive mail at the Powerhouse. If you want more information about contacting us, please click here!

Q - When was the Powerhouse built?

The Old Armory Pavilion

Q - Where is the Old Armory Pavilion located?

A - The Pavilion is located on the corner of Bramlett Ave. and University Ave. It's across the street from Walgreens.

 

Q - When was the Pavilion built?

A - The Pavilion was renovated in 2015. For more information about the Pavilion's history, please visit the Pavilion page

 

Private Events

Q - Can I use the Powerhouse for my wedding or event?

A - Yes! Please visit the Powerhouse page to learn more about the building and to download our wedding or event contracts. 

Q - How many people can the Powerhouse hold?

A - The building can hold around 400 seated and around 800 standing when both rooms are in use. 

Q - Can I rent the Pavilion for a private or a community event?

A - Yes! Please visit the Pavilion page to learn more about the process and to download a contract. 

 

The Art Crawl

Q - When does the Art Crawl happen?

A - The Art Crawl happens on the 4th Tuesday of every month except during the months of November and December. 

Q - How much does it cost?

A - The Art Crawl is a free event!

Q - Where can I catch the bus?

A - The Double Decker bus will make stops on the Square, at the Powerhouse, at the University Museum, and Gallery 130 (on the University of Mississippi campus). Many people start at the Powerhouse because there is a large parking lot located behind the building. 

Q - What is the Art Crawl?

A - The Art Crawl is a free, monthly tour of the art spaces here in Oxford. Locations are subject to change. Click here for more information!

Q - Do you have art classes for kids?

A - Besides the satisfaction that you'll get from helping to support the arts in Oxford and Lafayette County, you will also receive discounts for classes and events.
