The Gordon Community and Cultural Center
35 County Road 115
Abbeville, MS
Limited to 60 registrants
During this day-long event, participants will hear from an array of Lafayette County organizations and residents as they unpack the relationship between land and power. Sessions explore this topic from a variety of angles: legal, cultural, economic, shared and disparate histories, ecologic, and our responsibilities to history and each other. Participants will also share a meal together prepared by Chicory Market with attention to using locally produced foods. With disciplines including dance, film, law, anthropology, permaculture, and more - reaching The Summit together will be an enlightening experience.
