Learn how to spin your own yarn from natural fibers without the hassle and cost of a spinning wheel. In this class, we will learn the basics of drop spindles and how to spin on them, working in pairs and breaking down each movement required into smaller, more digestible bits. We will also cover plying and how to finish your yarn. All attendees will go home with handspun yarn that they have made and a drop spindle to keep.

Experience Level:
This is a beginner class open to students 12 years old and up. No adult accompaniment necessary. Students must be able to focus for the duration of the class.
Materials Provided:
Drop spindle and wool is provided, and students will take both home.
